Quatrovertalius by Flora Synths - Quadruple Attenuverter, Manual Voltage Source, Mixer
Botanical Name: Flora Quatrovertalius
Common Name: Attenuverter, Manual Voltage Source, Mixer
Description
Four lanes of instant CV control.
Attenuverters are found in almost every Eurorack setup—much like certain tiny lifeforms quietly producing a large share of the air we breathe. In the same way, the Quatrovertalius brings a vital presence to any system with four channels of taming, inverting, and offsetting. While it does not support chaining as its little sibling Vertalius does, this four-headed specimen still offers all the dependable traits of its single-headed cousin—just multiplied. Its symmetrical form and straightforward function make the Quatrovertalius a strong addition to any modular garden, ready to shape and refine control signals.
Growth Requirements
Power Supply: +12V, -12V (standard Eurorack power)
Space Requirements: 10HP width, skiff-friendly
Cultivation and Care
Feeding (Signal Input):
The Flora Quatrovertalius accepts a variety of signals through its INPUT jack (the top one), flourishing with both audio and CV signals.
You don’t have to feed Flora Quatrovertalius, without food it becomes a Voltage Generator and can provide you with the constant voltage controlled by the slider on any of the four channels. The toggle allows you to go to the negative voltage territory.
When nothing is patched onto the output of a single attenuverter block, its signal is automatically fed into the next one, allowing for more complex control over your signal.
By using the abovementioned mechanism you can use the Quatrovertalius as a mixer for both audio and CV signals.
