Erica Synths doesn’t need to be introduced. The ingenious team from Latvia is one of the most prominent on the market. Creators of the “Techno System”, a part of which you see here, the Bass Drum module (the first version), massive, punchy, and analog. 909-like with a built-in overdrive. Massive. Punchy. 🔥
Hexdevices is a tiny team from the Netherlands that has only a few modules. Their approach is the basic modules with simple circuitry, a catchy look, and very affordable pricing. What you see here is the Distress, a distortion module based on the circuitry from the 70s, giving a very harsh and crunchy sound.
You definitely know Tesseract if you follow us long enough :) We admire this great hardware maker and his products. The range of products goes all the way from attenuverters to digital VCOs, sequencers, drum machines, and your beloved TexMix mixers. Here we made a shot of the Tukra. You can’t describe this module in one paragraph. In very short, it is an extremely deep functionality-wise and at the same time convenient 8-track trigger sequencer and sample player. This module can replace a whole lot of your gear and become the center of many patches.
Black Noise Modular is another interesting manufacturer with a very wide product line, mainly focusing on common and nevertheless crucial tools. EGs, LFOs, Filters, and many more. Plenty of DIY options too! Here is Black Noise’s take on the classical Envelope Generator. What’s particularly interesting about this one is that it combines trigger-based ASR and LFO mode, has a switch for the very short and longer (3Hz) speed, and has a built-in Inverted output. Also, it’s just 6hp :)
