Noise Reap products
Welcome to the world of Noise Reap, an adventurous experiment in crafting and producing Eurorack synthesizer modules. Led by a group of self-taught electronics weirdos, Noise Reap embarks on a journey of discovery, delving into the vast tomes of human knowledge, seeking connections, and uncovering new ways to harness nature and manipulate electrons.
It is with mixed emotions that we share the information that Cody, the visionary behind the brand, has decided to close his business. However, we are fortunate to still have a few remaining modules in stock. Don't miss this opportunity to own a piece of Noise Reap's innovative creations. These limited modules represent a unique blend of unconventional thinking and sonic exploration that defined Noise Reap.

One Knob To Rule Them All!
The single LEVEL knob acts as both an attenuator and gain control. Rotating left attenuates incoming CV enough to completely null the channel. Rotating right increases the gain until the input and output are at unity. This simple one knob design is very “playable” and encourages performative use.
Trio of Pairs
The VCAs are built of discrete transistor “long tailed pairs”. Rather than using a specialized IC, we developed the VCA core using nothing but matched transistors and precision 0.1% components. Does this matter to the sound? Not really, but we still think it's cool!

The Sound
Foundation comes from the spirit of classic analog drum machines in that it attempts to recreate the nuance of an actual acoustic instrument. Each part of an idealized physical drum has been translated into electrical components.
The sound is massive and instantly recognizable as analog, even though there are a few minor digital augmentations. And while we’ve stretched and tweaked parameters beyond realistic, you still won’t find a harsh or cheesy sound on this thing.
Nudge
The Nudge CV input gently modulates the tuning of the drum to add variation and interest. Nudge is calibrated so that a gate or LFO applied here will be interesting but not disjointed. And if used in conjunction with an attenuator, obtains nearly subliminal pitch variation that give the instrument life and humanization.
Cyborg Envelopes
Under the hood, two of the three analog envelopes that shape the sound are digitally controlled. This is cool because it allows for some modifications over a traditional analog bassdrum circuit. Namely, the decay tail has a blended linear/expo shape, and the single RING control changes the length of both decays simultaneously.

Self Modulation
Self Modulation is a technique borrowed from the Bermuda VCO. It sends a portion of the top oscillator's output back into its own core. On its own this results in pleasant timbre shaping and light de-tuning. When used with other modulation parameters, self mod is an endless source for sweetspots and non-traditional waveshaping.
Super Sync
The top VCO can be synced to the bottom VCO or an external source. This is implemented in a haphazard way with no regard for holding waveshape. Think of the the sync as a unique modulation parameter. It creates new waveshapes, gates the core on and off, creates filter sweep effects, and more.
Destructive Spirals
The name Paradox is derived from its complex backend of intermodulation and ambiguity. One VCO modulates the other, which modulates the first, which modules the other... These loops can become so intense that the module can be used as a voltage controlled noisebox as well as a traditional VCO.

Anomaly is a VCF combined with a broken wavefolder.
Create textural oblivion, occult sputterings, and rarefied musings.

wtf BAD output
Full HP & LP cut

BAD Output
BAD might stand for bonkers asymmetric distortion. It’s the result of the bandpass output through an intentionally broken wavefolder. A circuit snippet borrowed from a guitar pedal they used to make called the Asstone. The results are devastating.
Output Buffers
Output buffers are not usually interesting, but these have a subtle amount of built in harmonic saturation. The lowpass and highpass outputs are gently driven by a smooth JFET clipping mechanism. While the effect is mild, it helps these signals feel as present as possible.
Resonance Profile
The resonance gets wild, but doesn’t self oscillate or run away. It is pingable, but on its own terms. Pinging the low & high outs are good for quick percussive blips. Pinging the BAD output creates abrasive techno kicks.
