The FADE gives a solution to control CV’s in your system from a central place. Next to that it answer the problem that very complex modules sometimes have functions which are only accessible through either menu diving or – there it is – an external CV signal.
This module sends out a CV signal by means of sliding one of the faders. There are 4x high quality 60mm faders with color indicators in 10hp.
The range of the CV out is adjustable by jumper settings on the back (0V, -5V, +5V and +10V are available). The settings of these jumpers are explained in the drawing.
The black lines on the backside clearly indicate which jumpers belong to which fader. Remember that this is the backside of the module so the order of the faders is reversed.
This module is made in collaboration with Studio am Rhein.
* Power consumption 12v 48mA; -12v 18mA; 5v 0mA
Four triggers/gates in 4hp, ideal for manual triggering of percussion or envelopes.
As long as you keep the button down, the outputs sends out 5 volts.
* Power consumption 12v 18mA; -12v 0mA; 5v 0mA
Unfortunately we humans only have two hands.. which can be a problem in synth space. Of course, we found a lot of solutions with control voltages and automation, but sometimes you want or need to control several parameters by hand.. for instance in a live or experimental setting. That is where XXPRSS comes in.
XXPRSS is a control voltage/expression module; with one huge knob, you can change 4 control voltages. Four channels work according to the same principle: with range, offset, and direction controls.
The big knob sends out minus 5 to plus 5 volts and can be attenuated by the ‘range’ pot on each channel. The ‘offset’ is also -5v to +5v.
The direction switch is what makes the whole thing extra interesting. You can change the output in the other direction than the Big Knob indicates. So if the big knob moves clockwise (from negative to positive), the direction switch makes that particular output send out a CV with the direction positive to negative.
Patch examples:
- If you working with two filters in your audio chain, you can open one and close the other with only using one movement.
- With two VCA's you can create a quick crossfade where one VCA closes while the second one opens.
Power consumption 12v 72mA; -12v 70mA; 5v 0mA
A 14 hp ‘four input x four output’ matrix mixer for audio and control voltages. Ideal for routing FX or make interesting CV curves.
Every output has a unipolar/bipolar switch. Unipolar works just like your normal mixer; bipolar works like an attenuverter (turning the knob clockwise will increase the signal, turning the knob anti clockwise over the zero point will increasingly invert the signal)
The smallest buffered matrix mixer out there.
